Peptides for immunity and hormonal balance

Peptides for immunity and hormonal balance: the hypothalamic-pituitary axis, thymic peptides and neuroimmune regulation

The Peptology category “Peptides for immunity and hormonal balance” gathers molecules acting on three interconnected regulatory systems: the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis (kisspeptin, gonadorelin, HCG), thymic and immune regulation (thymosin alpha-1, thymulin, Vilon, KPV, LL-37) and the neuropeptide axis, which links the stress response to the immune response (Semax, Selank, Adamax).

All products ship with GLS in 3–5 working days — lyophilised, with confirmed purity above 99% (HPLC/MS) and an independent laboratory certificate (CoA) for every batch. More in the article Peptides: what they are, how they work and their safety profile.

The three axes of the category

THE HORMONAL AXIS (HPG)

Three consecutive levels of one cascade: kisspeptin activates the hypothalamus, gonadorelin is the GnRH signal to the pituitary itself, and HCG acts directly on the gonads as an LH analogue.

THYMUS AND IMMUNE RESPONSE

Thymosin alpha-1 and thymulin are thymic hormones, studied for the maturation and differentiation of T lymphocytes. Vilon is a peptide bioregulator from the same school, KPV acts through an anti-inflammatory route, while LL-37 adds innate immunity.

THE NEUROIMMUNE AXIS

Semax, Adamax and Selank are synthetic neuropeptides in which cognitive and stress-related effects go hand in hand with measurable changes in immune markers — the classic model of the brain–immunity link.

Three molecules cover the most frequently studied scenarios — one per axis.

BESTSELLER

THYMOSIN ALPHA-1

The most studied thymic peptide. A 28-amino-acid fragment of prothymosin alpha, with extensive literature on dendritic cell activation, TLR2 and TLR9 signalling and T-lymphocyte maturation. The standard starting point in immunological models.

SEMAX

The neuropeptide with a dual profile. An analogue of the ACTH(4-10) fragment, without the hormonal activity of the full peptide. It is studied for its influence on BDNF and NGF, as well as for changes in immune markers in stress models.

GONADORELIN

GnRH itself. A synthetic decapeptide identical to the natural gonadotropin-releasing hormone. It is studied for pulsatile stimulation of the pituitary and the resulting release of LH and FSH — that is, it works through the axis itself rather than bypassing it.

Comparison: the three levels of the hormonal axis

Kisspeptin-10, gonadorelin and HCG are often discussed together, yet they enter at three different points of the same cascade. That also determines what can be measured with each.

Receptor KISS1R (GPR54) GnRH receptor LH receptor

Combinations of products from the category

The logic is the same everywhere: you combine molecules that act on different receptors or different levels of the same process. Molecules of the same receptor class merely compete with one another.

THE THYMIC PAIR

Thymosin alpha-1 + thymulin — both thymic, but with different mechanisms: one through TLR and dendritic cells, the other zinc-dependently, on T-cell differentiation.

THE NEUROPEPTIDE PAIR

Semax + Selank — the classic pair: one with an activating profile, the other calming, built from different starting molecules (an ACTH fragment and tuftsin).

THE CASCADE PAIR

Kisspeptin-10 + gonadorelin — two adjacent levels of the same axis. It makes it possible to separate the hypothalamic component of the response from the pituitary one.

INNATE + ADAPTIVE IMMUNITY

LL-37 + thymosin alpha-1 — one at the first level of defence, the other in the maturation of T lymphocytes: two arms of the immune response with no mechanistic overlap.

+ SOLVENT

Every peptide needs a suitable reconstitution medium. See the Solutions for peptides category.

Conversely, Semax together with Adamax adds no information: both derive from the same ACTH fragment and compete for the same targets. Likewise, gonadorelin and HCG used together make the model unreadable — HCG bypasses the pituitary and masks precisely the signal gonadorelin is meant to measure.

Storage and safety rules

In lyophilised form the products are stored at 2–8 °C, protected from direct light and moisture. Glycoproteins (HCG) and longer peptide chains such as thymosin alpha-1 are more sensitive to temperature fluctuations than short peptides — for these, refrigeration immediately after reconstitution is recommended, along with avoiding repeated warming cycles.
