What is BB10 (dual regenerative complex)?

BB10 is a ready-made, synergistic complex of the two best-studied regenerative peptides in a single vial: BPC-157 (5 mg) and TB-500 (5 mg) — 10 mg of peptide substance in total. It is the classic „repair pair", aimed at tissue regeneration, anti-inflammatory protection and accelerated recovery.

The strength of this combination comes from two complementary mechanisms. BPC-157 acts cytoprotectively and pro-angiogenically (rebuilding blood supply, protecting tissues), while TB-500 regulates actin and accelerates the migration of repair cells to the site of injury. Together they cover both the rebuilding of blood supply and cell movement — a greater effect than either peptide alone.

BB10 is the standard variant of this formula. The doubled-dose version — BB20 (10 + 10 mg) — provides a more intensive effect; you will find a comparison of the two in the table below. It is a research complex — it is not a medicinal product and holds no registration for clinical use in the EU. It belongs to the category peptides for energy and regeneration.

In the version offered by Peptology, BB10 is supplied as a lyophilized complex with purity above 99% (HPLC/MS), confirmed by independent laboratory analysis (CoA for every batch), in a fixed composition of BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg. The product is intended exclusively for scientific research and in vitro applications.

Composition: BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg

The complex combines two regenerative peptides with different, complementary roles (10 mg in total).

How BB10 works — a dual repair mechanism

In the research literature, the components of BB10 are described as acting on two complementary fronts. Together they cover the rebuilding of blood supply, cell protection and the targeted migration of repair cells.

BPC-157 — ANGIOGENESIS

Increases VEGF expression and activates VEGFR2 — rebuilding blood supply, cytoprotection and protection of the gastric and intestinal mucosa.

TB-500 — MIGRATION

Regulates actin and accelerates the migration of repair cells (fibroblasts, endothelial cells) to the site of injury.

SYNERGY

Combining blood supply (BPC-157) with cell migration (TB-500) gives more complete tissue repair than either peptide alone.

Why combining two peptides matters

Tissue repair requires two things: adequate blood supply and an influx of repair cells. BPC-157 handles the first (angiogenesis, cytoprotection), and TB-500 the second (actin regulation and cell migration). Combining the two in one formula covers both stages simultaneously — which is why the BPC-157 + TB-500 pair is described in the literature as a classic „regenerative stack".

If the protocol additionally requires a skin/collagen component, the formulas from the GLOW series (GLOW50 / GLOW70) add the copper peptide GHK-Cu to this pair. These data come from preclinical studies and do not constitute a claim about the effect of the research-grade product.

Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the components

Both peptides have a relatively short presence in plasma, but they trigger regenerative cascades whose effects last longer.

  • BPC-157: half-life < 30 min; effects (angiogenesis, fibroblast migration) last days–weeks
  • TB-500: half-life ~2–3 h; regulates actin and cell migration
  • Combined profile: short presence in plasma, long regenerative action
  • Points of action: BPC-157 — VEGFR2/NO; TB-500 — G-actin sequestration
  • Route of administration in protocols: subcutaneous or intramuscular, according to the research protocol
  • Form: lyophilized complex — two peptides in a single vial

Comparison: BB10 vs BB20

Both formulas contain the same two peptides (BPC-157 + TB-500) and differ only in doses. BB10 is the standard variant (10 mg in total), and BB20 — the double-strength one (20 mg in total). The table below helps choose the variant for the scale of the protocol.

Total peptide amount 10 mg 20 mg
Ratio 1:1 1:1
Purity > 99% (HPLC/MS) > 99% (HPLC/MS)

Both variants contain identical, certified peptides with purity > 99% in a 1:1 ratio — the difference concerns doses only. You will find the enhanced variant here: BB20.

Research data on the components of BB10

Each of the components of BB10 has its own research literature (mainly preclinical). Below are the most important observations that explain the logic of the combination.

BPC-157 — repair and cytoprotection

In animal models, BPC-157 is linked with faster healing of tendons, ligaments and muscles, and with protection of the gastric and intestinal mucosa — mainly thanks to stimulating angiogenesis (VEGFR2) and fibroblast migration.

TB-500 — migration and connective tissue

TB-500 (a fragment of thymosin beta-4) regulates actin and accelerates the migration of repair cells, supporting soft-tissue healing, angiogenesis and the limitation of fibrosis.

The logic of the combination

In regeneration research, the BPC-157 + TB-500 pair is one of the most frequently combined pairings, because their mechanisms do not overlap but complement each other — one builds blood supply and protects cells, the other directs repair cells to the tissue.

Research dosing protocols

Important: The information below describes schedules used in research on the components of BB10. It is provided for scientific and informational purposes and does not constitute a recommendation for individual use, medical advice or administration instructions. The research-grade BB10 offered by Peptology is not a registered medicine.

As a ready-made complex, BB10 is administered as a single formula (two peptides in one vial), usually subcutaneously, in regenerative protocols:

  • Subcutaneous administration (often near the site of injury in models) or intramuscular, according to the protocol
  • The schedule is usually daily or several times a week, in cycles on the order of several weeks
  • Despite the short half-life of the components, the regenerative effects last longer
  • Higher doses: for more intensive protocols the variant BB20 is available

In combination protocols, BB10 is sometimes paired with GH-axis peptides (such as CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin); the version with added GHK-Cu (skin/collagen) is provided by the formulas GLOW50 / GLOW70. These schedules come from the research literature and do not constitute a recommendation for self-administration.

Side effects and safety

In research observations, the components of BB10 are described as well tolerated. Side effects are usually mild, local and transient. It should be remembered that the data come mainly from preclinical models.

Common (mild)

  • Redness or slight pain at the injection site
  • Transient fatigue
  • Headache at high doses

Tolerability profile

  • Both components well tolerated in models
  • No serious adverse effects reported
  • A synergistic rather than additively burdening profile

To take into account

  • Pro-angiogenic action — caution in proliferation contexts
  • No clinical data in humans for the complex
  • Hypersensitivity to formula components

Most of the observed side effects are mild and transient. Because of the pro-angiogenic nature of the components, the complex requires caution in contexts related to cell proliferation. This information is scientific in nature and does not constitute an instruction for use.

Storage and reconstitution

BB10 is supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a vial, containing two peptides. In lyophilized form it is stable at room temperature, protected from light and moisture — refrigeration before reconstitution is not mandatory. After reconstitution, stability depends on the solvent used, with Peptide Matrix Water™ significantly extending the peptides' lifespan.

  • Before reconstitution: room temperature, in the original packaging, protected from light and moisture. A refrigerator is not mandatory.
  • After reconstitution with Peptide Matrix Water™: stability in the refrigerator +2 °C to +8 °C for up to 60 days under appropriate laboratory conditions — the stabilizing formula extends the peptides' lifespan relative to standard solvents.
  • After reconstitution with bacteriostatic or sterile water: stability in the refrigerator +2 °C to +8 °C for up to 28 days under appropriate conditions. Do not refreeze the reconstituted solution.
  • Reconstitution: in a laboratory environment, Peptide Matrix Water™, bacteriostatic water or sterile water for injection is usually used, depending on the protocol.
  • Volume: maximum 3 mL of solvent (capacity of a standard vial). For a precise calculation of volume and units, use the peptide calculator.
  • Homogenization: add the solvent slowly down the vial wall, without vigorous shaking — peptide bonds are sensitive to mechanical stress. Swirl gently, do not shake.

Laboratory tip: With your order, you can add Peptide Matrix Water™ to the cart — a stabilizing solution designed for working with reconstituted research peptides. More in the article Bacteriostatic water vs acetic acid vs matrix water.

Frequently asked questions about BB10

What exactly is BB10?

It is a ready-made complex of two regenerative peptides — BPC-157 (5 mg) and TB-500 (5 mg) — in a single vial. It combines the rebuilding of blood supply (BPC-157) with the migration of repair cells (TB-500). The results concern the components and come from preclinical literature.

How does BB10 differ from BB20?

Both contain the same two peptides in a 1:1 ratio; they differ in doses. BB10 is the standard variant (BPC-157 5 mg + TB-500 5 mg = 10 mg), and BB20 is the doubled variant (10 mg + 10 mg = 20 mg) for more intensive protocols.

Why combine BPC-157 with TB-500?

Because they act on different, complementary mechanisms: BPC-157 builds blood supply and protects cells, while TB-500 directs repair cells to the tissue. Together they give more complete repair than either peptide alone — hence their popularity as a „regenerative pair".

How does BB10 differ from the GLOW formulas?

BB10 is the BPC-157 + TB-500 pair. The formulas GLOW50 and GLOW70 add a third component — the copper peptide GHK-Cu — for an additional effect on skin and collagen.

How is BB10 stored and reconstituted?

The lyophilized vial is stored at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution, stability depends on the solvent: with Peptide Matrix Water™ — up to 60 days in the refrigerator +2 °C to +8 °C; with bacteriostatic or sterile water — up to 28 days. Avoid refreezing.

Quick reference

Parameter Value
Form Lyophilized powder
Solvent Peptide Matrix Water
Reconstitution volume 1–3 mL — maximum 3 mL (capacity of the standard vial)
Storage before reconstitution Room temperature, protected from direct light (refrigeration not required)

What you need

Precision pipette

Calibrated, 100–1000 µL — for accurately measuring the volume of solvent added to the vial.

70% alcohol swabs

Two swabs — to disinfect the peptide vial and the solvent vial.

Peptide Matrix Water

Stabilized solvent for lyophilized peptides. Why this one.

Five rules for reconstitution

✅ Correct ❌ Mistake
Disinfect the vial caps and the work surface with 70% alcohol; wear gloves Working without disinfection
Add the solvent slowly along the vial wall Direct jet onto the powder — foaming and denaturation
Gentle rolling between the palms Shaking — foam, which denatures peptides
10–15 minutes waiting at room temperature Mechanical mixing or heating
Visual check: clear, particle-free Working with a cloudy or discolored solution

Calculating concentration

⚠️ Maximum 3 mL solvent. The standard vial does not accommodate larger volumes — do not exceed during reconstitution.

  • Concentration (mg/mL) = mg in the vial ÷ mL of solvent
  • Volume per sample (mL) = amount per sample (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL)
  • 1 mg/mL = 1 µg/µL · 1 mL = 1000 µL

👉 For any vial and solvent volume — use the calculator. It calculates the concentration (mg/mL, µg/µL) and the volume per sample (mL, µL).

Storage

BEFORE RECONSTITUTION

Room temperature, protected from direct light, in original packaging. Refrigerator not required.

AFTER RECONSTITUTION

+2 °C to +8 °C, up to 60 days with Peptide Matrix Water. Discard any remainder after this period.

FREEZING

Not recommended. Freeze/thaw cycles degrade peptide structure.

Four mistakes to avoid

1. Shaking "to dissolve faster"

Foam = denaturation. Only gentle rolling between the palms.

2. Inappropriate solvent

For peptide stability use only sterile, specially formulated solvent — recommended Peptide Matrix Water.

3. Ignoring slight turbidity

Not fully clear = the sample does not meet the criteria for use.

4. Taking it out of the refrigerator "for an hour–two"

Short exposures add up and compromise stability.
